QUE ES UN LATINO/HISPANO?

Latinos son de muchas raices – de muchos paises – y con muchas identidades

Latinos are many races, come from many places, and have many identities!

Hispanic or Latino is an ethnicity and culture rather than a race, referring to people with origins in Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Central or South America, or other Spanish countries. Culturally, however, many people use Latino to express a broader identity rooted in shared histories, values, and experiences of Latin America, including its Indigenous, African, European, and mixed-heritage
traditions.
